Hey y’all… So its been a over a year since I decided to change my life forever and I haven’t looked back ever since. I have spent the last year or so just learning about food, my body and building a new relationship with all elements of ME. I am still adjusting to this new trimmer body of mine and it is a very very VERY big change to get used to. I have since stopped weighing myself as I think that you can become obsessive over how much you weigh and I don’t calorie count as it drove me nuts.
So since my update in December 2013 I have increased how active I am, I workout at the gym 3 to 4 times a week. As I have lost so much weight and would like to tone up, I have now increased the amount weights I use. Let me just say anyone that goes to the gym on a regular basis will know how addictive that place can be. I love knowing that each time I workout I approve become stronger fitter and even more focused. Being fit and healthy is one of the BEST feelings in the world especially when you are doing things you could never do before.
We can’t forget the most important and vital part to a healthy lifestyle FOOD!!
My lifestyle has transitioned from cutting out certain food items to a fully fledged vegan, I am experimenting with food and I always will. I am enjoying every minute of discovering new recipes and new foods everyday. My food choices are ones that make me feel good, that I enjoy and will want for the rest of my life. The key to my success in losing weight and maintaining it, is to not deprive yourself but to find alternatives. I still eat cake and the things considered naughty but that is because I find ways to have them that are more beneficial to my body.
My body will never be perfect but it is AMAZING and so worth it…..
I still have a long way to go but I am so up for it considering how far I have come! For any of you that are out there on a path to a better lifestyle and just a better YOU, stay strong and ENJOY!
We only have one life and one body so treat it right and keep it TIGHT!!
Hey y’all for a good while now I have been exercising the state of POSITIVITY.
Hey y’all did you miss me?! been a while I know I have been on Planet Stylisoulstar living good, eating good, playing good and having me some fun. I am shrinking in size but my life is getting bigger, I am loving my new body which is still under maintenance but doesn’t mean I can’t show it off in the meanwhile. I am slowly getting used to this smaller frame of mine, it has its good and bad points but loving that I can play around with different looks.
If you haven’t noticed I am very much into menswear and I love a bit of tight mixed with loose.
Denim – is one of my FAVES it is so classic its cool, wears well also it can be made to look smarter fits perfectly with my style and never goes out of style.
Shirts – These can be either loose and baggy to add that comfy element or fitted with collar to add the sharpness.
Layering – I love to layer it adds some dimension and character to an outfit, also mixing fabrics and colours makes it much more fun.
Hope you likey the “FITS” as my friend would say and hopefully I can give you some fab ideas.

Hey y’all its that time of year where everyone is scurrying around buying the whole high street like the shops will never open again. It is also the time of year where people are about to stuff their faces and say they will work it off in the new year. It is also the time of year where the “2014 is my year” statements are made (how so..did you buy it?). Also the I am going to join the gym 1st January and back to the sofa on 1st February situation is about to happen!!
Now I am no way perfect or here to preach but what I am here to do is point out a few thangs. I won’t lie I have been subject to the new years resolutions crap but that was way back when….
Basically you are alive and living NOW so why not try to do something NOW, everyday you wake up you have the chance to change the game tomorrow is a brand new day!
If 2013 wasn’t a very good year for you then why would you wait till 2014 to make it better? End the year on a good note and say you know what 2013 wasn’t what I had hoped but I can learnt from from it and use it. Go into a new day with a positive head don’t put off your happiness till another time!
We are in no way perfect but how do we become better if you never make that change!!
