For the past how many years I have bought plant milk from the the supermarket for CONVENIENCE and laziness, I have done a few experiments with making almond, hemp and cashew milk. but to be purely honest with you Hemp milk straight up changes the game, it is so nutritious and delicious, easy to make and packed full of goodness. Okay let’s drop some nutritional facts, it is a complete protein so has all of the essential amino acids the body needs. So this makes it an awesome plant based protein to pack in to your daily intake. Hemp is also full of omega-3, fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zinc. These all together help the body to get oxygen around the body, support the immune system and bone health. so enough of all that lets get making….

Vegan Green Banana porridge | Breakfast Recipe

 Over the past month or so I have took a step back and listened to my body in what it likes and don’t like. sometimes we eat food that we know we shouldn’t time an time again, then deal with the CONSEQUENCES later. for example i love oat porridge but every time I ate it i would get hunger pains after, I ignored these signs and still ate it. now i have officially stopped eating oats and i have been on the look out for its replacement, as I do really miss it. Skipping ahead to last week a fellow foodie posted a green banana porridge, i immediately got excited and ran out to buy some green bananas to get creating. let’s just say I am in love, i won’t be making it everyday but it will definitely be a breakfast staple of mine. I love that it is just a few ingredients and the fact that BANANAS are the main ingredient is awesome. i wanted to share This recipe with y’all, because I feel it is such a delicious breakfast option and so easy to make. so here it goes…..

Vegan Naked Snickers Bars | Raw Recipe

when you’re an adult turned vegan any chocolate bars that may of been your favourite back in the day are now off the table. I had a few faves like snickers, twirl, flake, time out, boost and bounty to name a few. I know there are some vegan versions on the market currently, but being that I can’t just pick them up in regular supermarkets, they are a tad pricey and still contain a lot of ingredients that aren’t beneficial, i much prefer to create my own. As you know I am a big fan of creating things myself they are so much more satisfying and you know exactly what it contains. Lately I have been craving a “snickers” caramel, peanuts and chocolate is just the perfect match, so naturally I jumped into the kitchen to satisfy those taste buds.
